Maker’s Mark Private Selection “Pour Perfection” by The Tap House

Makers Mark | 110.9 Proof | NAS

Nose: Dried fruit, caramel, honey, light spice

Palate: Almonds up front with waves of creamy butterscotch, oak, and fresh fruit coming in second.

Finish: Medium-long finish with strong notes of toasted French oak sweetness

Conclusion: Well, I said I would expand my Maker’s Mark selection, and what better bottle to expand with than a Private Selection. Tap House Liquor killed it with this pick. Tons of sweetness, fruit, and candy flavors with a balancing oak and spice presence that rounds this bottle out nicely. Not sure what my hesitation was, but I am certainly in my Maker’s Mark era.
